Nintendo just gave us the clearest picture yet of what the Switch 2’s first year will look like. After the latest Nintendo Direct, we finally have a roadmap of every major title coming in 2025, and the lineup is stacked with nostalgia, blockbuster sequels, and a few surprises that I never thought we would see so early in the system’s life.

For me, the first-party slate is almost overwhelming. Metroid Prime 4 Beyondis finally real, Pokémon Legends Z-Alooks like the boldest step the series has taken in years, and we are even getting both Super Mario Galaxygames bundled together. Nintendo is making sure its new console feels essential before 2025 is even over.
